Welcome to Glenbeag Cottage
This is a
lovely, bright family holiday home in the magical west highland
coastal village of Glenelg, overlooking the Sound of Sleat to the
Isle of Skye. This self catering cottage is an ideal location for
wildlife, beach, water or hill based holidays, as relaxed or active
as you wish to be. The cottage is near the renowned
Glenelg Inn and a minutes
walk from the village shop and the seashore. It is in a stunning
area that includes the site of Gavin Maxwell’s ‘Camusfearna’ at
Sandaig with its white coral beaches. Glenbeag has some of the best
preserved Iron Age brochs. Close by are Munros including Beinn
Sgritheall and the Five Sisters of Kintail. And you may still ‘sail
over the sea to Skye’ on the traditional
Glenelg ferry crossing at Kylerhea.
Glenelg is 20 miles south of Kyle of Lochalsh. Nearby are
Eilean Donan Castle,
Plockton, Loch Duich and
Knoydart. The
village is approached by the spectacular
